Inclement Weather

New Hope Learning Center follows the same procedures as LISD. So, if LISD closes school for the entire day, we are also closed. If they delay school, we are also delayed. (delay times are normally 1-2 hours) Please watch your local news channels for closing information. You can also check online at www.lisd.net.

Here is LISD Inclement Weather Procedure:

LISD will make the decision to close schools based on inclement weather by 6:30 a.m. School closing decisions are reported to local television broadcast channels and radio stations.

If needed, late start times due to inclement weather are as follows: Elementary - 9:30 a.m.; Middle School and High School - 10:30 a.m. Morning buses will run 1 1/2 hours later than normal when start times are changed due to inclement weather. NHLC delayed start time is 8 am.

PLEASE NOTE: Media outlets only inform viewers and listeners of those school districts that are either starting late or canceling school. If no information is given, LISD will be starting at the regular time, on a regular schedule.
